Thunderstorm Ambience: Rolling Thunder at a Distance

Rolling thunder over a distant storm gives this scene its character. Thunderstorm plays the uploaded thunderstorm.mp3 recording.

Choose a track in the catalogue and press Play when you are ready.

Listen before settling in

Select Thunderstorm in the homepage catalogue. The recorded storm has its own changes in intensity; listen briefly at a comfortable device volume before returning to your activity. Playback repeats the file until paused. If you prefer steadier rain, choose Midnight Rain instead. Changing tracks replaces the sound currently playing.

Give the scene some room

A distant storm can be a setting for sorting a desk, sketching, or reading a familiar chapter. Pick an activity that does not require listening to another source. If individual sounds keep pulling your attention away, pause playback or try another recording. The point is a background you enjoy, with no requirement to keep it running.

Choose an ending

The Sleep timer offers 15, 30, 60, or 90 minutes. Select a duration and press Set sleep timer. Its countdown runs even while playback is paused. At expiry, it attempts a 45-second volume fade and then pauses audio. Cancel sleep timer clears the countdown without stopping playback. Browser suspension can delay the stop; some devices restrict the fade.
