Eternal Nebula — Terms of Service (DRAFT)

Welcome to Eternal Nebula (eternalnebula.com), a free space to focus and unwind. By using the site you agree to these terms.

The service

Eternal Nebula is free to use. Listening to soundscapes, using the timer, the focus room, and the solar system explorer require no account and no payment. There are no ads on the site.

Accounts

• An account is optional. You only need to sign in to save mixes, keep favorites, and carry your focus stats across devices.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details private. One account per person, please.
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@eternalnebula.com; your saved data is deleted with it.

Your content

Mixes you create and save, and the stats you earn, are yours. By saving them on the site you give us permission to store and display them back to you — nothing more.

Our content

• The site's design, text, and artwork belong to Eternal Nebula.
• The ambient soundscapes are public-domain or CC0 field recordings, free for everyone.
• Planet sounds are real mission audio: NASA recordings are public domain; Jupiter's audio is credited "Audio: University of Iowa, Juno Waves (CC BY 3.0)" wherever it appears. Mercury's panel currently carries no mission recording pending written ESA authorization for its BepiColombo sonification; if granted, it will ship with ESA's required credit. Audio is provided for listening and may not be resold as standalone recordings.
• Focus and ADHD-room copy is descriptive, not medical: our sounds may help many people focus; they do not treat ADHD or any condition.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the site: no scraping at abusive volume, no attempts to access other users' accounts or data, no uploading or sharing anything unlawful through your account, and no reselling access to the service.

The future

We may later offer optional digital extras or subscriptions. If we do, these terms will be updated with payment and refund terms before anything is sold — nothing here obligates you to buy anything.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the site running smoothly, but the service is provided "as is," without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages from using the site. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and note the change on the site.
